Technology bites!!

Alright, I know, I know.. 'it makes our lives easier'. All I have to say is BS! It is supposed to make our lives easier, but does it really? Not mine, if anything it makes it more complicated. If it's not crashing, it's burping and kicking me off of systems, or it's just being a royal pain in the derriere. Now, if someone actually came up with a computer that could do it all and not cause major headaches 24-7, that's the one for me.
Why the tirade you ask... What a can of worms that one is. I can't access my email off a certain site, who shall remain nameless for the fact that they're royally pissin' me off and I'd probably get sued for slander. But those out there who know me, you know who you are, know of what I speak. It's been an on-going problem... six days now, with intermittant problems beforehand. Now it's just one giant keg of agony and anger toward 'technology'. It never works when you want it to and when it does work you don't require it to. Go figure right!? Freakin' Murphy's Laws of computers are kicking in big time around me.
But, I've done the prescribed sending in of the diagnostics, detailed the problems to the keepers of the site and now await their pearls of wisdom. Personally, I think it all happened because of their latest and greatest upgrade that the computer of which my anger is directed at, went and downloaded for whatever inane reason without my permission. That's another topic that sets me off, the bloody thing is set to ASK me before actually downloading, but every now and again it does something by itself, usually to my detrement. I hate technology, and the real kicker is, if they'd thought all this through ahead of time and learned from errors of the past, I'd probably wouldn't be having half the problems I do right now.
Oh well, whatcha gonna do right? I think the little devil dude has the right idea though... *evil grin*
