Making headway

So, I am kickin' ass and taking names if anyone wants a whoopin' *grins*. Kidding. Actually I've been writing since I got home, more or less. In the, roughly, hour and twenty minutes, I've plugged in another 1,935 words for my script. Which now brings the grand total to.... drum roll please! 7,445 as of 6:40pm local time. Not too bad and, I'm sure, I'll squeeze out a few more tonight if I can. Not sure if I want to right now, I'm at a happy place for a stop, so I may just go off and putter at something else.

Nothing super exciting happened today, just the normal randomness that is my life. Dealt with the whiny, the snivelly and the (so they claim) downtrodden and weary *wipes tear*. In other words - clients. Known in my industry as the "I-wanna's". I-wanna have it now, I-wanna have it sooner, I-wanna have it yesterday... okay, if someone ever, EVER, invents the time machine, I am so coming for you! This is your only warning... so be warned *gives evil eye*.

Other than that it's been a pretty typical day, except we got the news that all the new equipment is coming in on the 22nd of June. I can see you all going, 'yeah... so what?'. I shall translate, this means that all chaos and havoc will ensue upon this day. The shop shuts down for the day, everything gets rearranged and then put back into it's brand new spots. Sounds easy right? Then you come and move the 5,000 tonne machine all by your little lonesome. I so dare you! No, no takers... hm, shame. Oh well, I am off to make some one's life miserable and... I shall do this with great pride in my work - until later PEACE!
