Okay, this is a totally valid question. Where has our summer gone? We had it and then it went poof! July was the hottest summer month we'd had in many years, and now... August sucks. It feels like I'm living in freakin' Vancouver. Rain, rain and yes, more rain. I like rain when it's warm out and it's a nice break to the heat. But damn! This stuff is cold and nasty, the wind is bone chilling and it's just plain ugly out there. I live in the freakin' prairies, we shouldn't be having this freaky assed weather.
*sighs* But, since there's not really any one to lodge a complaint with, I suppose I must continue to suffer along.
Let's see what else has been happening... Oh yeah, boss is gone on holidays, this I've mentioned before - jerk. And, of course because he's gone, we've gotten increasingly busy at work. Yup, that time of year again where the work load triples overnight. Well, it happened, my desk looked like a paper bomb had gone off when I left on Friday, yup, "left" and that was after cleaning it up for Monday morning. I have so many unanswered emails in my work in-box it's not even funny, just all the crap that a) I didn't get to and b) didn't feel like doing because I already was running around at full steam.
The most joyous of all the news *claps* is that it only gets busier from here! Woo-hoo. NOT! omg! I so can not wait for all the holidays to be completed and the office to be back to full staffing again. Then maybe, just maybe, I'll be able to actually get fully caught up on things.
As to writing, well, I just haven't had time to be working on my script, I know, bad me. But hey, unlike some people I know and won't mention names, I didn't set a deadline to have it completed. See Ry, I didn't once bring your name up in that sentence.
Well, that's it for today, I have some cleaning to do, a little rpg action to complete and then I'm going to collapse and watch the finale of The Kill Point. Ciao!

you did at the end ;) but it's ok... deadlines aren't for everyone... i don't much like them, but if i don't set them, i wouldn't get anything done
