Well, I finally hit the half-way mark, 'bout damn time too. And yes, there is some grumbling after that sentence, I just haven't had the time or been completely unable to make the time to write this damn novel. WTF?! I have all the time in the world in October, but as soon as a deadline looms in the horizon - poof! All the free time is gone like the wind. Oh well, good new is that the groove is on and I do have 8 days and change to make the cut. In the last 3 days alone I've written over 3,000 words, so I can get this thing done realistically speaking.
3,000 and change a day is all that's needed to get to my goal. Not that hard really, I usually do about 2,000 on the bus ride to work and back again, so all I have to do in the evenings is the change of the numbers. And I'll have this weekend to write, all weekend. I'll just put my nose to the grind stone and actually do it. The coffee will be continuous, the snacks will be numerous and I will write until I can't move my fingers anymore. Then I'll rest and start all over again. It is possible! hehe - well, got more to write - I'm outta here.....
